One Central Park

One Central Park (OCP) is a pioneering centre for business enterprise, training and academic excellence.

Fusing education, commerce, innovation and enterprise, this unique collaborative venture provides a comprehensive range of activities from vocational training, foundation degrees and postgraduate research to business creation and incubation. It’s a place where industry and academia meet to develop tomorrow’s products and services whilst also acting as a training hub for the skills sought after by 21st century businesses.

Partners in OCP include University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University and The University of Salford, together with Manchester Science Park and The Manchester College.

The vision for the 100,000sq ft £19million building is to create a campus environment where the brightest young minds mingle with innovative business start-ups to foster the development of businesses, organisations and individuals. Entrepreneur Peter Jones, of TV programme 'Dragons Den' fame has already chosen OCP for his flagship National Enterprise Academy - a programme designed to provide training for the next generation of entrepreneurs.

OCP’s role as a business incubation centre also gives the potential for start-up companies to evolve into their own bespoke accommodation in Central Park itself – creating a flourishing, dynamic business community.
