Central Park offers the benefits of a prestigious city location all within the community environment of a business park
Central Park has a large part to play in East Manchester’s ambitions as a business location. Known as ‘the city’s business park’ this 92-acre site that is just minutes away from Manchester city centre and has its own dedicated Metrolink stop set to open in 2011.
With eye-catching public realm architecture and its £36m transport interchange, the site will ultimately provide 1.4m sq ft of business space and create around 5,000 jobs. It is already home to The Sharp Project and One Central Park, facilities designed to help new and growing businesses fulfil their potential.
Information technology giant Fujitsu, was one of the first to see the advantages of Central Park, relocating their regional office to the site in 2005. With a new Greater Manchester Police Force Headquarters and Divisional HQ currently under construction and due for opening in 2011, Central Park is undoubtedly turning into one of Manchester’s relocation hot spots.
Developers Ask/Goodman have also completed Madison Place, a village of five office buildings designed to suit SME’s looking to occupy their own Grade A office. Totalling 43,694 sq ft altogether, the buildings range from 5,304 sq ft up to 13,523 sq ft and are for sale or to let. Significant design & build opportunities also exist elsewhere within Central Park.
