Since the 2002 Commonwealth Games, East Manchester has become a national centre for sport and sports-related businesses.

One of our jewels in the crown is the National Cycling Centre (NCC), home to the world beating British cycling team. As well as achieving Olympic success for Team GB, the Cycling Centre is a great community facility, open to everyone regardless of their ability.

Eastlands is also home to the Etihad Stadium, built as the main athletics venue for the 2002 Commonwealth Games and now home to Manchester City Football Club.

These world class venues together with the National Squash Centre and the regional centres for tennis and athletics make Eastlands a sporting destination second to none.

Smaller sports-related companies will find a good mix of property in the area to accommodate businesses looking to service the national teams and venues. So if your company is looking to gain credibility in this sector, East Manchester is the logical choice.
