Express Networks 1, 2 & 3

Property developers Artisan have created their own little corner of Ancoats with three separate and very different buildings spanning the block between George Leigh Street and Oldham Rd

All are seconds away from all the Northern Quarter's fashionable bars and restaurants and just 10 minutes walk from Piccadilly station.

Express Networks 1 is an innovative conversion of the iconic old Daily Express printworks whose black and silver reflective exterior has long been a Manchester landmark. Inside, managed workspace is set around an atrium and exhibition space with residential apartments above.

Express Networks 2 is the imaginative transformation of what was an architecturally uninteresting print storage shed into stylish, contemporary workspaces with 1 and 2 bedroomed apartments above.

Express Networks 3 is a purpose built new building fronting onto Oldham Rd, containing office and retail spaces to the lower levels and residential above. These two contemporary blocks have smart design details including wide, private balconies at the rear of the building and a glass bridge that connects the two sections. You'll be hard pressed to find better value apartments so close to the city centre.
