On the junction of Great Ancoats Street and Jersey Street, MM2 was Ancoats first new build apartment complex when it opened in early 2003
It has a great-looking orange brick facade, with huge Art Deco-style windows that make the rooms really bright and airy. The 90 apartments are considerably larger than comparable blocks, with spacious living areas and nicely designed kitchens and bathrooms. Although it’s on the corner of Great Ancoats Street, most of the apartments face either the quiet central courtyard, the historic cobbled streets or the Rochdale Canal, so noise isn't a problem.
The two blocks contain 90 apartments ranging in size from 1-3 bedrooms and there’s secure car parking and a waterside terrace overlooking the Canal. The ground floor retail units are home to the upmarket furniture retailer Roche Bobois and the bespoke interior design and furniture company, M-Scheme.
