Wright Robinson is a specialist college of Sport and the Arts and a member of the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.
Located by the grounds of Debdale Park, the school holds the prestigious Sportsmark Gold award with distinction, the coveted FA Charter Mark and the Healthy School award.
In 2007 the college moved out of its old buildings and into a brand new building on adjacent grounds. The £43m college was the most expensive school or college ever built in Europe at that time.
Following the opening of the new building, the college boasts one of the best teaching and learning environments in the country, offering the full range of GCSE subjects and complemented by a most comprehensive suite of vocational courses.
