This award-winning public space is located on Redhill Street, next to the Rochdale Canal and offers views of Ancoat’s famous historic ‘wall of mills’.
Reclaiming this unused land with new landscaping and seating has created an enjoyable place to sit and relax and this new public area was recognised by the Civic Society with an award for best new public space in 2003.
