New canal connections will bring boats right into the heart of New Islington.
Connections to the existing Rochdale and Ashton Canals will make the new marina at New Islington a real draw for boaters, providing mooring for up to 50 boats right next to the heart of the city.
Other features will include a new swing bridge connecting New Islington to Ancoats together with new paths and canal walkways which will connect the area to the city centre.
The Marina is located just off Old Mill Street
