Originally built as the main athletics venue for the 2002 Commonwealth Games, the City of Manchester Stadium is now home to Manchester City Football Club.
The stadium is also one of Manchester's most successful conference and hospitality venues and outside of the football season it also hosts major national and international sporting events and concerts. Stadium tours are available and there is an MCFC museum full of historical information and football memorabilia.
